The rules for using Scottish Meme AI - your photo, prohibited content, AI labels, credits and accounts.

These terms govern your use of https://scottishmemeai.com ("Scottish Meme AI"). By using the site you agree to them. Contact: support@scottishmemeai.com.

Who can use Scottish Meme AI

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to use Scottish Meme AI.

What Scottish Meme AI does

Scottish Meme AI makes short AI videos of you playing a character in a classic Scottish accent meme. You pick a meme and upload one photo of your face; some memes also take an optional second photo of another adult who agreed to be in the video. An AI video model then generates a new video of that person in our own AI-made remake of the meme.

  • Every meme on Scottish Meme AI is our own AI-made remake with adult characters only. No frame or person from the original video is used, and we do not name the people in the original videos.
  • You cannot upload a video or audio of your own, and there is no text prompt.
  • Memes with a voice come with the meme's original audio.
  • Videos are generated by third-party AI services we contract with; Scottish Meme AI is our own product and is not made or endorsed by those providers.
  • Scottish Meme AI is an independent fan tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by the people in the original videos, TikTok, YouTube or any meme account.

Your uploads

Before every generation you must confirm that the person in each photo is you or an adult who agreed to be in this video. By confirming, you represent that:

  • You took the photos or have the right to use them.
  • Every person shown is you or an adult who agreed to be in this video.
  • Nobody shown is under 18, a public figure, a celebrity, a politician or an influencer.
  • The content is not sexual, violent, hateful, harassing or otherwise unlawful, and is not meant to make people believe a real person said or did something they did not.

You keep ownership of your uploads. You give us a limited license to process them only to generate your video, run content-safety checks and deliver the result.

Prohibited uses

The full list of prohibited content, how moderation works and how we enforce it is in the Acceptable Use Policy. In short, you may not use Scottish Meme AI to:

  • Create sexual or sexually suggestive content of any person.
  • Impersonate, defame, harass or mislead about a real person.
  • Depict minors in any way.
  • Infringe anyone's copyright, trademark, privacy or publicity rights.
  • Attempt to bypass free-credit limits, credit limits or content-safety checks, including by creating multiple accounts.

We may block a generation, remove content or suspend an account that breaks these rules.

Generated videos

Subject to these terms and to the rights of the people in your photos, you may use the videos you generate, including posting them on TikTok, Reels, Shorts and other platforms. Every video is labelled as AI-generated on the site and in the full video's file metadata; keep that label when you post it, for example by turning on TikTok's AI-generated content label, and do not present the video as real footage. AI output can be imperfect or unexpected; review every video before you post it. You are responsible for how you use and share your videos.

Credits and payments

  • Any free credits we give are limited to one grant per person.
  • Credits are bought in one-time packs. There are no subscriptions.
  • Credits from packs do not expire, have no cash value and cannot be transferred.
  • Credits for a failed generation are refunded automatically.
  • Payments are processed by Stripe, and charges appear on your statement under the name shown at checkout.
  • Refunds for purchases follow the Refund Policy.

If you believe content generated with Scottish Meme AI, including a meme's audio, infringes your rights, email support@scottishmemeai.com with the details. Rights holders can ask us to remove a meme's soundtrack or use a different one. We review and act on complaints within 48 hours.

Availability and changes

We may change, pause or discontinue features and memes. We may update these terms; the date at the top of this page shows the latest version.

Disclaimer and liability

Scottish Meme AI is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
